One of our longest standing clients, Detroit Chamber Winds & Strings (DCWS) will be bringing music and an adoring audience to Hosmer on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 2pm.
Principal Bassoonist of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and a member of DCWS, Conrad Cornelison will be presenting music that highlights the history of the Hosmer Library. This means music with literary ties from the early part of the 20th century to electronic music that plays on its current function as the home of our IT company.
This concert is part of a DCWS series called Structurally Sound, which brings chamber music to architecturally significant spaces in Metro Detroit, where a musician will bring their creativity to crafting a program that specifically ties to that space.
Macro Connect’s Co-Founder, Matthew Morin, has been a board member of DCWS since 2006, about a year after DCWS became an IT client!
In September, the former Hosmer Branch Library will have yet another feather to add to its cap, that of chamber music venue!
